World Paradigm Corporation was founded in 1999 as a consulting company for the International Oil & Gas business, building on 25 years of experience in the Upstream sector. Since its inception World Paradigm has also partnered with several companies to provide a variety of services; Welcome to the Site!

I come from the small but beautiful town (actually listed as a city) of Claremont, which is tucked in the mountains along the border between New Hampshire and Vermont. Great place to grow up and build a solid base from whence to see the world. Funny thing is that I was probably the only kid in my Stevens High School graduating class who never wanted to leave home! Life is sometimes strange. Since that time I have had the great privilege of studying, working and traveling over most of the globe. More >>

I went on from Stevens High School to attend the University of New Hampshire where I graduated in 1974 with a B.A. in Geology. While there I had the priviledge of taking part in a "Junior Year Abroad" program, where I attended the University of Birmingham, England. The University of New Hampshire is an outstanding academic institution with a proud history. More >>

I then attended the University of Birmingham, England where I received a MSc degree in Geochemistry in 1977. My research focused on the development of the lower Devonian volcanics of Scotland and northern England. The Birmingham University campus is located in Edgebaston in the subburbs of the large Midlands District city of Birmingham. More >>

I went from Birmingham, where I studied ancient volcanics to Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where I signed up to perform Doctoral research on a large volcano in Nicaragua. However, that was not all to be, as a series of connected events including the Communist Sandadistas in Nicaragua, The Soviet Army in Afghanistan, and the Shiite rebellion in Iran "guided" my lifes work to the oil and gas industry where I have been ever since! This all comes full circle when you realize that I live much of the time in Azerbaijan, which was a part of the Soviet Union, and is populated mostely by Shiite Muslims. "Life is Weird". Dartmouth is a wonderful University, rich in history and one of the finest institutions of higher education in the world. More >>

Now I live part of the year in my "adopted home" Baku, Azerbaijan, which lies along the southern flank of the Greater Caucasus mountains. The people here are absolutely wonderful, the food is delicious, and the weather is perfect. Here's more information about Azerbaijan and Baku! More >>
